Sintering is an optimal process for small and complex parts with relatively tight tolerances. By joining solid particles together at high pressure and high temperatures, a strong object is created. The process is cost-effective and requires little post-processing, making it ideal for serial production. However, it is important to note that the density is around 70-85% compared to a homogeneous material.
